John Huet // The Art of Sports Photography

by Marilyn Cadenbach on October 3, 2017

As a photographer who shoots a lot of sports, John Huet has always considered the “art of sports photography” to be part of his lexicon. This summer and fall the Olympic Museum has created a special program to celebrate the art of sports photography. In addition to several events, the program includes two exhibitions: Who Shot Sports: A Photographic History, 1843 to The Present and Rio 2016 Seen Through the Lens of Four Photographers. John’s iconic work is featured in both shows, and Heidi Volpe of APhotoEditor sat down with him recently to discuss his work, his affinity for #theartofsportsphotography and the genesis of his Olympic odyssey.  Read the full interview and see more of John’s photography for the Olympics here.
